Vehicle Sourcing Service
| For those wishing to purchase a vehicle and who may not have the knowledge, time or confidence to buy in the Taiwanese market, A.C. offers its professional sourcing service. After initial consultations with customers to establish which vehicle brand(s) and model(s) will most suit their needs, we manage all aspects of sourcing the best example of a vehicle meeting those specifications. |  |

Following an initial general inspection and the client's agreement to proceed, we will perform a full 200-point inspection, which is included in the sourcing fee. Clients will only be recommended vehicles which can meet our checking criteria. We will monitor the progress of any minor repairs which have been agreed to bring the vehicle up to the required standard, and we will confirm the vehicle's completed status ready for final handover to our customer. We are so confident of our service that we only collect full payment if we can complete the sourcing assignment. *Photographs will contain views from all exterior angles, and will cover interior and under-bonnet areas. Specific shots will highlight any minor faults found which may be acceptable to the customer or may be repaired before payment. |
Please take special note of the following: Before our customers make final decisions on vehicles they wish to be sourced, we always recommend that they familiarise themselves as much as possible with their model choice before both parties commit to sourcing. |
Vehicle Sourcing Procedure
For our clients' information, we list below a typical sourcing procedure:

The client downloads the sourcing request form from the A.C. website booking page and then returns the completed sourcing request form to customer@actaiwan.com |

A.C. accepts the sourcing request and forwards A.C.'s bank details to the client for the sourcing deposit to be transfered. |
3) |
Upon receiving the deposit, A.C. will commence sourcing of the vehicle. |
4) |
Specific information and photographs of potential vehicles sourced will be sent to the client by e-mail. |
5) |
Client notifies A.C. if the vehicle is of interest and A.C. arranges for the client to view the vehicle at the seller's location. In some circumstances clients may request A.C. to continue with the 200-Point Inspection check without the client first visiting the vehicle. |

If the inspection checks confirm immediately, or after negotiation with the seller who may offer repairs to correct any minor issues, that the vehicle reaches the required standard, then the vehicle is considered sourced. |

If the client agrees to purchase the vehicle, then he/she will require two forms of I.D. (A.R.C., National Health Card, local Driving Licence, Passport are all accepted). |

The vehicle change of ownership is generally handled by the dealer after: signing of contracts; receiving the new owner's identification cards; receiving a purchase deposit (usually either NT$20,000 or ten percent of the vehicle's value). |

Any repairs to the vehicle are carried out to the standards stipulated by A.C. and the client. |
10) |
After the repairs, A.C. will re-inspect the vehicle to check that the repairs and vehicle condition are satisfactory. |

A.C. will advise the client that the vehicle is ready for collection, or arrange delivery within a reasonable distance. The balance of the purchase price plus insurance, fuel charge and vehicle tax must be settled with the seller. (see: Typical Motoring Costs ) |
12) |
A.C. will collect the balance of the sourcing fee when the customer receives their vehicle. |
